Winter Production

Ottershaw Players are presenting A Christmas Carol at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking, from the 5th to the 8th December 2012.

Charles Dickens’ famous tale, of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from miserable miser to generous benefactor, has been a popular feature of Christmas since it was published in 1843. Scrooge’s redemption is prompted by the visits of a succession of ghosts. Realising the error of his ways, he displays his affection for his only nephew and takes responsibility for his clerk’s family.

It’s a fine, feel-good, family play that is the ideal precursor to Christmas…and the perfect production for Dickens’ bi-centenary year.

There is a large cast of characters, with opportunities for all ages

The read-through will be at The Castle Inn, Brox Road, Ottershaw on Monday 2nd July at 7.30pm

The auditions will be at the same venue, on Monday 9th July at 7.30pm.
