Jim Gallimore RIP

With great sadness I must inform you that one of our long standing and very supportive members, James (Jim) Gallimore, died in hospital last Friday evening, May 10th, from complications following intensive care treatments for a recently diagnosed brain tumour and associated medical conditions.
A more detailed tribute to Jim will be published shortly. OP’s of course, knew Jim for his involvement with local theatre and drama, but he was well known in the Ottershaw village and the local area for involment in many other community activities.

Jim’s funeral will be held on Friday 24th May; a short cremation / committal service at Woking Crematorium at 10.15am, followed by a thanksgiving / celebration service at Christ Church, Ottershaw at 11.00am. All are welcome to both services and afterwards at the side rooms at the church.

Jim and Shirley’s nominated charity is “Friends of The Royal Marsdon Hospital” and donations can be made at the crematorium or church.  Alternatively, they can be sent c/o the funeral directors:

We send our sympathies and condolences to Shirley and her and Jim’s families. He will be greatly missed.
