The box office is now open for our forthcoming murder mystery evening: A Blow To The Head.

William Masterson, headmaster of Old Town Grammar School, is retiring after 20 years. To mark the occasion the school has prepared a special retirement dinner to which all former pupils are invited. While having their dinner, the “old girls and boys” (in reality, the audience) will see various school characters, including the deputy head, the sports master and the ex Head Boy and Head Girl, all of whom have a motive to bump-off the Headmaster…

At the end of the evening the audience, guided by the permanently perplexed Inspector Foot of the Yard, must try to find the identity of the murderer. There are prizes for the winning team.

For tickets, priced at £10 (which includes a fish and chip supper), phone the Ottershaw Players box office on 01932 702091.

This is a busy time for the Players as they also prepare for their production of Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime which is showing at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking, 28th – 31st May.
